First, you should know that what people mean by a HARD DALLAS LOFT vs. a SOFT DALLAS LOFT. A HARD DALLAS LOFT means that the loft is primarily concrete walls and floors (sometimes hardwoods) with exposed duct work. This is typically because the loft is made from a former converted warehouse...that is now divided up into separate living areas (lofts).
A HARD LOFT also usually means a big space with NO separated walls for bedrooms! In some cases, there are somewhat separated areas for the bedroom or living room.
The best HARD LOFTS are pretty much found in Downtown Dallas , which would make sense (this is where the most older wareshouse style buildings are). However, you can also find a few hard lofts in Uptown, and even Las Colinas and Plano. |
